About The Artist
Joel Gerard is recognized as one of the country's leading photographic artists. He has been creating beautiful images that have enhanced the homes of countless residents of Monmouth County for over 40 years. Quality workmanship, consistency and dependability are the hallmarks of his profession.
Joel's creative and unique style of portraiture has won numerous National and State awards. He has served his State Association for 20 years, twice being elected President. He has earned the respect of his peers by receiving the Professional Photographer of New Jersey Award.
On the National level, Joel has earned the coveted Master of Photography Degree in recognition of achieving the highest standard of professional performance, as well as the Photographic Craftsman Degree from the Professional Photographers of America. He is an educator, lecturer and author and received the prestigious National Award for meritorious contributions to the photographic industry.
Throughout his career, Joel has contributed portrait sessions for auction, helping to raise thousands of dollars for many charitable organizations. Recently, he was honored by the Monmouth Park Charity for his efforts.
